I recently upgraded my MacBook Pro to Mojave. Now I'm not able to connect to my Arduino board with ch340g usb-to-serial chip. It is a Arduino board with AtMega 328 and ESP8266 integrated. I downloaded the drivers from the Chinese website for the ch340 and also removed old installations, like some tutorials tell me. To look for CH340 driver files (i.e. Usb.kext or usbserial.kext) in the path, you could use the following command. Language:bash ls grep usb You should see something similar to the output below after using the commands. DRIVERS ARDUINO NANO CH340 FOR WINDOWS 10 DOWNLOAD. Education Details: This is the correct driver for the serial adapter, and it includes drivers for Windows 7 x64.Arduino Nano CH340 has a lower cost USB-Serial Chip that makes it less in price than Arduino Nano with FTDI USB-Serial Chip used on older versions of Arduino Nano. The drivers will no longer run in the kernel but in user space. Thats a good move in the mid-term as it will simplify driver development and stabilize the system (the driver can no longer crash the entire system). But I wonder when the new drivers will be available and if the CH340 drivers quality finally improves. Does anyone have any definitive information regarding how to allow Mojave to communicate successfully with the CH340 chip. Thanks in advance. I had the same problems with my arduino nano CH340, after 3 hours trying i get the solution: uninstall the old CH340 driver (as everybody recommended below) install the CH34x V1.5 driver restart macbook.
